Colli Asolani

The winery is situated in Cornuda, a small town in the very heart of the Treviso province (the so called Marca Trevigiana), at the foot of the ancient sanctuary of “Madonna della Rocca” that dominates the countryside from the top of the hill. Located halfway between Venice and the Dolomites, this area is exceedingly rich in art, history and architecture and was the setting of some heroic battles of the First World War. Only a few kilometers far from the winery, the medieval village of Asolo offers to its visitors the emotion of walking through a sort of “widespread museum”: its romantic alleyways and arcades, its ancient and elegant houses, the castle and the imposing fortress that overlook the green Prosecco vineyards…

From the mountains to the plains, the landscape of the area offers delightful panoramic views as well as the chance of practicing plenty of sport activities. For those who enjoy cycling and hiking, there are plenty of natural, historical and artistic itineraries to walk/run along, admiring the noble villas, the memorial monuments, the ancient churches and monasteries. The area of the “Colli Asolani” is also famous for its culinary excellence: food and wine enthusiasts will certainly appreciate the local specialties such as famous radicchio di Treviso (a kind of red chicory), the fresh, sparkling Proseccos and the full-bodied red wines.

In this lovely natural and cultural setting, the Bedin family grows its grapes and produces its wines. The winery is situated along the panoramic “Montello e Colli Asolani wine route” that stretches through the sunny vineyards, connecting Asolo to Nervesa della Battaglia. This is the homeland of the Prosecco DOCG Asolo: a wine of great value, whose main strength lies in the peculiarity of its terroir.
